Why should I choose Air Busters Air Duct Cleaning
over other local air duct cleaning companies?
|
The Most Specialized and Powerful Equipment |
Air Busters Air Duct Cleaning uses
a 2006 Ford Diesel powered vacuum truck that was specifically
designed for air duct cleaning. This truck produces up to 17,000
CFM (cubic feet per minute) vacuum draw using an 8-inch hose. It
is also equipped with a 60 gallon Quincy compressor that runs
175 PSI continuous constant pressure. In Condo and
Apartment cleanings, we use the Abatement 2500 Portable vacuum -
the best portable on the market today. Air Busters Air
Duct Cleaning also uses state of the art scorpion whips and
rotary driven brushes (in all different sizes) that go down deep
into vents and supply lines to ensure a proper and professional
cleaning.

|
Certified Air Duct Cleaning Specialists |
Air Busters Inc employs the only
ASCS (Air Systems Certified Specialist) and CVI (Certified
Ventilation Inspector) in this area. Our ASCS – CVI technician
works for Air Busters Air Duct Cleaning full time, and is
retested annually by NADCA for HVAC competency. We have the
knowledge and expertise to perform your cleaning properly and
professionally.
|
|
Members of the National Air Duct Cleaning
Association |
Air Busters Air Duct Cleaning is
the only company in Essex County that is a member of NADCA
(National Air Duct Cleaning Association). All NADCA members are
bound by a strict code of ethics that were put in place to
protect the consumer.
|
|
Safe & Natural Sanitation |
If sanitizing and deodorizing are
deemed necessary, we use a fogging machine and a 100% natural
sanitizer called BBJ Micro-Biocide, which is made exclusively
for air duct cleaning. We apply this product while the system is
still under vacuum draw to ensure that the entire system is
sanitized - not just the vent openings.

What Questions Should I Ask When Choosing an
Air Duct Cleaning Company?
|
What type of Truck and Vacuum equipment does
their company use? |
Don’t settle for, “we have a
powerful truck mounted vacuum”. Ask them the size of their
truck, whether they use a mini or cargo van, how many CFM vacuum
draw it has, and ask what size vacuum hose they will be hooking
up to your system. Also ask how big their compressor tank is,
the PSI, and the air pressure they will be using.
|
| Do they use certified air duct cleaning technicians? |
Ask where their employees were
trained and who trained them. Ask what certifications they
posses, and what associations do they belong to, if any. Ask for
details regarding their equipment, truck and credentials, and
ask them to be specific.
|
| Check with the Better Business Bureau |
Before you make your decision, call
the Better Business Bureau and check to see if the company you
are considering is a member of the BBB. If they are not, ask
why. If so, has their company had any complaints lodged against
them?
|
| How will they apply sanitizer and deodorizer? |
What sort of chemical will they be
using, and will they supply you with documentation? Some
companies use a spray bottle of their so-called “free sanitizer
& deodorizer” to spray each vent opening. Each vent has been
treated, but the supply lines and main lines running back to the
furnace are left untreated.
